Overview

Klavon collaborated with Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium to design a welcoming entry plaza for the zoo. Site features include interactive installations that are aimed at informing both kids and adults of natural processes and sustainable development approaches. Features such as art that interacts with wind, pollinator gardens, a green roof covering the entry gates, pervious pavement, kinetic pavement, and artful stormwater management methods all help connect visitors to the natural world.
