US Navy – Fire Station Facility Replacement

Klavon Design Associates, Inc. generated a MILCON DD 1391 documentation package for a new fire station facility at the Naval Support Facility at Dahlgren, VA. The project was developed in accordance with the MPT3 Blue and Green processes Type III effort. The project included plannning and design services to support the development of the nine (9) million dollar replacement facility, as well as a site investigation study, primary facility identification, BFR documentation, environmental impact assessment, programing, spatial planning, preparaion of site and architectural plans, LEED documentation,ecconomic analysis, and budget level cost estimating.

Documentation of the project was entered electronically into the DoD Econopack and Navy Electronic Project Generator (EPG) systems.

The project was awarded Congressional Funding and is scheduled for construction in 2010.
